Reading practices Nucleus

Reading and writing practices are always contextual phenomena. From this premise, as PLEAc, we assume that the sociocultural dimension of language—more specifically language and literature—are symbolic mechanisms of appropriation and transformation with the potential to represent, create, inherit, reproduce, and subvert frames of reference.

For this reason, we intend to contribute with research addressing reading and writing in its multiplicity and complexity, to promote a critical awareness, the search for the common good and the development of a more just society.
