Interacciones académicas en un espacio mercantilizado: Redes de co-autoría en investigaciones sobre política educativa en Chile (1990-2019)

This article analyzes the research networks based on co-authorship works on educational policies about Chile between 1990 and 2019, a period characterized by the implementation of a market school system. Based on a systematic review and a coding process of 260 papers, the study analyzes academic collaboration at three levels: countries, institutions, and researchers. In each level, the degree of centrality, betweenness, and closeness of each actor are calculated, in addition to the density of the network and the visualization through network maps. The results show that collaboration patterns are relatively low at all levels, although they show variations. Thus, while international collaboration networks focus on countries from the Global North, showing low levels of collaboration with Latin America countries, in the case of institutions, collaboration tends to focus on those with greater prestige and tradition, although including increasingly broad and differentiated clusters. Finally, academic collaborations at the level of researchers present low density and a scarcity of connections, although the existence of key actors.
