Mission

The mission of the School of Mathematics Education and Educational Informatics is to contribute to the development of society through the training of undergraduate and graduate professionals, and the generation and dissemination of knowledge in the field of Mathematics Education, based on the Formative Model of the University, emphasizing a solid and integrated personal, disciplinary and professional training, in order to promote quality performance.

Vision

The School of Mathematics Education and Educational Informatics wants to be recognized for a style of training that gives space to collaborative work and constant reflection on teaching practice, in the training of professionals, especially in the educational area, emphasizing research and articulation with other disciplines, to generate proposals that contribute to improving the teaching and learning of mathematics in the educational system, leading those that favor the most disadvantaged sectors of society.
